A landing page is a destination

A landing page is a single page built around a focused purpose such as lead capture, registration, purchase, or explanation.

A funnel is a sequence

A funnel describes the broader customer journey. One or more landing pages can be individual steps inside that journey.

When one page is enough

A focused page may be enough when the visitor already understands the offer and the requested action is simple.

When more steps help

Complex purchases may need education, qualification, follow-up, demonstration, or objection handling across multiple interactions.

Avoid complexity for its own sake

Every extra step adds another place where visitors can stop. Add pages because they solve a real communication or process problem.
